Biography

Yahrah St. John lives in Orlando, the City Beautiful, but was born in the windy city Chicago. Yahrah first began writing at the age of twelve and wrote over twenty short stories.

A graduate of Hyde Park Career Academy, she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Northwestern University where she developed her writing skills through creative writing courses and writing for my college newspaper, The Daily Northwestern. When this savvy writer finally sat down to complete her first full length novel, she was offered a two-book contract with Harlequin formerly BET Books.

Yahrah St. John is now the author of nine books which have garnered four-star ratings from Romantic Times BOOKReviews, Rawsistaz Reviewers, Romance in Color and numerous bookclubs. A member of Romance Writers of America, St. John is an avid reader of all genres. She enjoys the arts, cooking, travel and adventure sports, but her true passion remains writing.
